This morning when I was doing some research, I came across this video clip. I am sharing this with you today, because in many ways it is a great reminder of something Dr. Bruce Lipton said. “Don’t let your tapes, or anyone who has a diminished view of you, create your life.” Instead, take the time to get to know who you are and then create a life which supports that person.
When we meet adversity, we all have two choices: we can either let the situation empower us or steal our power. Knowing how it feels to be in your conscious mind and then having the skill to lasso your unconscious mind and pin it to the floor so it doesn’t respond in an inappropriate manner is a great way to make sure you are the one creating your life.
I don’t agree with everything that Sylvester Stallone says in his speech to his son, but what I do agree with is: “…It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward….Now if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not point fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody!…”
With this in mind, I invite you to explore ICWIB! Activity One: Version One because it is a great way to go inward, reconnect with your authentic nature, and discover the life that supports you.
I also invite you to explore some of the other ICWIB! art activities and videos for FREE because they are also a wonderful way to reduce stress and release bottled up emotions so you can reconnect with your true nature and subsequently create a more joyous and authentic life.
