Nature provides us with wisdom if we are open and present enough to hear it speak to us. This is something indigenous tribes have known for centuries. Unfortunately, it is hard to connect with nature on a deep vibrational level if we are disconnected from our authentic nature and ourselves.
So how can we reclaim our innate ability to connect with and live in alignment with nature?
There are many way to recoup that innate wisdom within us, though they all contain the same components—stopping, looking inside, and listening to what is being offered. Unfortunately, many of us were taught to follow external direction—another person’s agenda. You can see the results of this everywhere, but it is especially obvious in education. Students have lost their curiosity— the natural driving force of education. Many have also lost a passion to learn and a passion for mastery. They only are interested in what is needed to pass a test and get a good grade. This is not the point of education.
So how can we resolve this condition in our children, our communities, and ourselves? I think the answer is: Play!
Take the focus off getting the right answer or being right—even in our discussions and arguments. Instead look for what wants to be born. I recently encountered a situation that was going down what I thought was the wrong road. No matter how hard I tried, it wasn’t going the direction I thought is should. Finally I let go of my agenda. (Step One: I stopped.) Then I looked inside for the beliefs that were coloring my visions. (Step Two: I went inward, and Step Three: I listened.) Then the magic began to happen!
Since I had stopped, looked inside, and listened, I was able to see what the Universe was trying to accomplish and the truth was it was what I REALLY wanted to happen—not the second-rate version I was trying to implement.
I invite you to explore some of the other FREE ICWIB art activities and videos because they are a wonderful way to reconnect with nature and ourselves.
Since the ICWIB program, which is endorsed by Dr. Bruce Lipton and based on his research, has repeatedly demonstrated its ability to help even young children reduce stress, release bottled-up emotions, resolve internal conflict, and learn to place their mind in a learning ready state, I think it should be available to any teacher who wants to actively use it in his or her classroom regardless of their ability to pay for the training.
Would you like to help make this a reality?
