In this short video clip, Dr. Bruce Lipton and Dr. Wayne Dyer talk about how our perceptions don’t change our DNA—our perceptions change the readout of our DNA. Then that information goes in and affects the genes. Since we can create over 30,000 different variations from our original blue print, it’s easy to see that our genes don’t limit us; instead we are limited by our beliefs and perceptions about the world that we live in.
Albert Einstein once said, “The most important decision we make is whether we believe we live in a friendly or hostile universe.” And Henry Ford said, “Whether you believe you can or you believe you can’t, you are right!” This is what they were both talking about.
So how can we change beliefs that are coloring our perceptions and limiting us?
Historically, people have used practices such as meditation and prayer to strip away confusion and reconnect with themselves and what is important to them. The reason these practices have been helpful over the centuries is, if practiced fully, they contain many of the necessary components for reprogramming the subconscious mind.
The subconscious mind learns through hypnosis (theta brain state), repetition (this must be felt and experienced), and energy psychology (activities that engage the super-learning processes of the mind) and high-impact events. But there are also many other ways to accomplish the same thing, as long as you include the necessary and vital components. For example: The Labyrinth, the second activity in the I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB!) Program, can help you effortlessly spiral inward and reconnect more deeply with yourself and what matters to you.
When you do this activity, I recommend you pay particular attention to the moment when your mind becomes still and you feel an expanded lightness, because in that moment you have shifted into your conscious mind. If you have difficulty bringing on this shift, just slow down your breathing and the movement of your crayon or pencil even more.
In a recent interview Dr. Bruce Lipton said, “…Freedom is the ability to create without the limitation of generational programing. The I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB!) Program is a gateway and a pathway into a new and better future because it allows children to fully express themselves and to not be limited by the beliefs that have been passed from generation to generation. This program also frees up children’s minds and allows their creative nature to create a better world for all of us, which is what we need right now!…”
With this in mind, on March 1, 2018, we launched a crowd-funding campaign to raise money so we can offer the ICWIB! training to 150 preschool and elementary school teachers in the upcoming academic year for FREE.
