How do you respond when the outcome you envisioned is different than what you wanted? Does your need to be in control override your ability to see the humor and growth opportunity the situation has created? Are you able to laugh, look at the pattern you are tripping over and make a different choice? Or do you just plow ahead with the determination to accomplish the outcome the way you want regardless of its impact on others?
I think it is important to remember that many of the negative beliefs we acquired could actually be the result of someone needing us to accomplish a specific outcome. Then because we weren’t able or capable of fulfilling their expectation we took on a negative belief about ourselves. The truth is that they might not have ever felt that way about us or intended us to feel that way.
So if you find yourself locked into needing something to turn out exactly the way you want or if you have a negative perception of yourself, I invite you to explore some of the ICWIB art activities and videos for FREE because they are a great way to transform negative beliefs and unproductive patterns that hinder your ability to thrive.
Also, in a recent interview, Dr. Bruce Lipton said, “Freedom is the ability to create without the limitation of generational programming. The I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB!) Program is a gateway and a pathway into a new and better future because it allows children to fully express themselves and to not be limited by the beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation. This program also frees up children’s minds and allows their creative nature to create a better world for all of us, which is what we need right now!”
