In this three-minute video, Dr. Bruce Lipton offers a scientific look at the relationship between stress and the immune system. With winter coming soon to the northern hemisphere, this is a valuable reminder of why decreasing stress is vital for good health and a well-functioning immune system!
Bruce discusses how stress weakens the immune system by releasing hormones like cortisol, which cause blood vessels to constrict (part of the fight or flight response) and push energy to the arms and legs (instead of your gut and organs). This is the body’s way of temporarily conserving energy for survival—by redirecting energy the immune system uses for growth—for protection instead.
However, your body still needs to replace hundreds of billions of cells every day! This growth can’t happen when the body is in a continual state of protectionary response. Would you like to learn some simple ways to switch your system into growth mode when you notice yourself experiencing stress?
With this in mind, we invite you to explore some of the ICWIB! art activities and videos for FREE.
Also, in a recent interview, Dr. Bruce Lipton said, “…Freedom is the ability to create without the limitation of generational programming. The I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB!) Program is a gateway and a pathway into a new and better future because it allows children to fully express themselves and to not be limited by the beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation. This program also frees up children’s minds and allows their creative nature to create a better world for all of us, which is what we need right now!…”
