This short video is a great reminder how connection, empathy, and trust can flourish through the shared adventures of tandem cycling, mountain trekking, paragliding, and scuba diving between able bodied people and people with disabilities.
Divyanshu Ganatra, founder of Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation (ABBF), said you can learn more about a person in an hour of play than a year of conversation. Since trust, empathy and connection are important in all good relationships; maybe we should all explore this phenomenon in our own way.
Can you imagine trusting someone else enough to allow him or her to steer you down a bicycle path or ski slope while you are blindfolded? Or can you imagine the heart felt love and connection you might feel being the one guiding another down a ski slope or bicycle path so they too could experience the wind in their hair and new smells in their nose? Participating in such an adventure I feel would be life changing.
Even if we never experience this phenomenon, I think the pondering of it can activate our conscious mind and bring forth personal insight. Exploring some of the ICWIB art activities and videos can accomplish the same thing. So with this in mind I invite you explore some of the ICWIB art activities and videos for FREE.
