In all relationships good communication is important. Unfortunately, good communication is often lacking when it is needed most. So what is the trick to good communication? Some may say that it is having the confidence and the ability to articulate your position. I think good communication stems from two things: a deep understanding of the “why” behind your position and deep listening.
So, how can we find the real “why” behind our actions and how can we become better listeners? We quiet our mind and practice self-reflection.
I invite you to explore the first activity in the ICWIB Program call Just Scribble, because it is a simple and easy way to cultivate the art of self-reflection. I have found this deceptively simple activity has the capacity to help me unearth answers to my most heart-sought questions.
I invite you to explore some of the ICWIB art activities and videos for FREE.
