All of our minds are wired differently, which means we also have a different tolerance for the opposite states of chaos (unpredictability) and imposed external order (predictability). Finding that balance point (your own), I feel, is the key to success. Some people need a great amount of order to feel safe and activate their conscious problem-solving mind. While others seem to be allergic to order and thrive in a state of perpetual chaos and/or upheaval. Being aware of the subtle body clues that indicate that you have or are nearing your tolerance threshold can help you remain clear, and centered, and subsequently increase your productivity.
I have found that playing with the ICWIB activities is a great way to become more aware of your chaos and order tolerance. They can also help you reestablish balance when you do cross your threshold.
I invite you to explore some of the ICWIB art activities and videos for FREE.
