In this short TED Talk, Paula Byrne, worldwide teacher of transformational dance, shares how movement gets us under the radar of our minds and deep into ourselves. When we listen with deep curiosity to our bodies, we become grounded in the present moment. Through movement, we invite the wisdom of the body to speak up.
Transformational dance can be like doodling with your body. Imagine drawing in space with your body as the brush, moved by your breath. Scribbling with your arms, drawing patterns with your feet across the floor, simply allowing the body to explore. What feels good for you?
Did you know that the ICWIB! Program explores how specific shapes, patterns, and rhythms affect your system? You can combine this knowledge with movements that can calm and restore, or energize and enliven your body and mind, depending upon your needs in the moment.
With this in mind, we invite you to explore some of the ICWIB! art activities and videos for FREE.
Also in a recent interview Dr. Bruce Lipton said, “…Freedom is the ability to create without the limitation of generational programming. The I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB!) Program is a gateway and a pathway into a new and better future because it allows children to fully express themselves and to not be limited by the beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation. This program also frees up children’s minds and allows their creative nature to create a better world for all of us, which is what we need right now!…”
