Karim Sulayman – I trust you from Meredith Kaufman Younger on Vimeo.
This very moving video illustrates the importance and power of love, trust and connection.
Ten days after the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Sulayman, Karim Sulayman- an Arab-American tenor from Chicago- teamed up with filmmaker Meredith Kaufman Younger to perform a trust experiment. Watch this silent video (set to Sulayman singing Sinead O’Connor’s “In this Heart”) as Sulayman stands blindfolded outside Trump International Hotel in Central Park West in New York City and asks strangers to see, connect, and trust him.
The event had the capacity to open hearts and minds and in the process also active everyone’s conscious mind. This is really important especially during harsh and challenging times because when we are in our conscious mind we have the capacity to make conscious choices.
With this in mind, I also invite you to explore some of the ICWIB art activities and videos for FREE because they can accomplish the same thing.
