This short video explains how continuous stress can change your brain’s size, structure and how it functions. It also talks about how movement, meditation and the use of the breath can reduce continuous stress so we can diminish its negative impact on both our body and mind.
During this extremely stressful season I think this information is very important, but how can we incorporate movement, meditation and the breath in our already stressed out and overloaded schedule?
The answer is really quite simple.
Using activities as simple as scribbling the I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB) program teaches both children and adults how reduce stress, release bottled up emotions and restore balance within their body and mind. You learn the activity first with paper and crayons, but as soon as you understand the process you can accomplish the same thing with your finger on your leg, arm or hand. This means you can use these techniques anywhere and anytime you find your stress level rising.
With this in mind, I invite you to explore some of the ICWIB art activities and videos for FREE. Why? They are a wonderful way to learn how to activate your conscious mind and in the process reduce stress, release bottled-up emotions and restore balance in both your body and mind.
