This short video is a wonderful reminder of how the simplest action can make a difference in another person’s life.
During these challenging times, when our lives are filled with more stress and anxiety than usual, I would like you to imagine how each of us could make a positive difference if we just took 5 minutes to listen deeply, and respond with love and compassion to one individual each day. Remember making a difference doesn’t require us to buy anything or do a heroic act, it only requires us to be present so we can see a need and respond consciously and compassionately.
2020 was a very challenging year for many. As we step into this New Year, I invite you to look for a need and an opening to touch that need in just one person’s life each day. This action can be as simple as a smile (though that is hard with a mask) or a ‘hello’ or ‘I like the color of your shirt’. If we can do this, or even do this occasionally I am sure that together we can begin to fill this New Year with more peace, love, and joy.
With this in mind, I invite you and the children in your life to explore some of the ICWIB activities and videos for FREE, because they are a simple way to help you step fully into the moment and respond with love and compassion instead of fear and anxiety.
