This short and very informative video was created to show teachers how trauma affects the brain in a simple and straightforward manner. Now even though this video was explicitly created for teachers, I think it is very useful for all individuals since 70% of the population has experience trauma at least once.
I also think it is important to remember that trauma is defined as a psychological, emotional response to an event or an experience that is deeply distressing or disturbing. This means that what you might experience as a trauma may be different than what I might experience as a trauma. Also, only now are we becoming aware of the long-term effects of trauma and how it can impact all aspects of one’s health and life.
So, if you find yourself feeling stuck or you are having difficulty making a change in your life you might want to explore the I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB) Program which is endorsed by Dr. Lipton and based on his research. These deceptively simple, fun, and scientifically sound tools can help you quickly change your perceptions and create a more harmonious, and authentic life.
If you want to explore the ICWIB program or make a change, we invite you to join Nany Marie, the creator of the ICWIB program, in our new FREE Drawing in the Now class. In each class Nancy Marie will demonstrate one ICWIB activity; explain how to use it and why it works.
If you are interested, join Nancy in her studio the first and third Monday of each month from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm PST. If you enjoy this class and find the information beneficial, she also encourages you to share it with your family, friends, colleagues, and your social media.
In a recent interview Dr. Bruce Lipton said, “…Freedom is the ability to create without the limitation of generational programming. He went on to say, that the I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB!) Program is a gateway and a pathway into a new and better future because it allows children (and adults) to fully express themselves and to not be limited by the beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation. This program also frees up children’s and adults’ minds and allows their creative nature to create a better world for all of us, which is what we need right now…”
