I can’t believe it! Tomorrow is Halloween!
This is the day we can officially wear a mask and pretend we are someone else. Are you going to choose to magnify an aspect of yourself or someone completely different. Are you going to be a mystical being, animal or something completely different?
We all wear masks from time to time. It is a way to protect ourselves, hide our inner most feeling, maneuver difficult situations, and explore new ways of being. On Halloween we are culturally given permission to explore and be someone we normally don’t appear to be.
Unfortunately, if you aren’t aware of your mask and the reason you feel a need to wear a mask in a certain situation you can lose touch with yourself, your purpose and path.
Many people find that the holiday of Halloween allows them to try on a different personal. Whatever you choose, take the time to explore what are the attributes of the being that you are attracted to and make a conscious choice to bring those qualities into your daily persona. I am not suggesting you go to work in a spider costume every day. What I am suggesting is you bring some of the qualities you admire in a spider and incorporate them slowly into you your life. This will help you expand and become more authentic.
Then if you really want to become even more authentic and would like some support, I suggest you explore the I Create What I Believe (ICWIB) program where my friend Luke will demonstrate the ICWIB activities and/or attend the FREE Drawing in the Now classes that are taught by Nancy Marie over Zoom the first and third Monday of the month from 4:30 pm-5:00 pm PST.
ICWIB has a new column! It is called, Alex’s Insights.
In this column Alex, Nancy Marie’s medical Alert dog, will share his unique perspective, and innovative, and sometimes humorous solutions for human challenges.
We recommend you follow his wise and sometime zany column where he will help get you thinking about your own current beliefs and approach to life and how you might change it.
