We have very sensitive noses, and we like to smell!! We also like a variety of smells—don’t you? Now sometimes a dog really likes to roll in a smell they discover on the lawn. I personally don’t. Often humans find the practice of rolling in a certain smell “gross” but then they go home and rub perfume and colognes on their body.
What is the difference?
There is none if doing something or observing something makes you feel happy and generates laughter. Life can get so overwhelming that it is easy to lose track of who you are and what is important. The antidote for that is fun, play and laughter.
We are in your life to help you learn how to keep your heart and mind open so you can sniff out if a situation is good or not good for you. This skill is very important in these crazy times.
So, if you don’t want to roll in some stinky stuff on the lawn, then remember that watching your dog have fun rolling in it can bring about laughter and subsequently help you open your heart and reside in your conscious mind.
If you would like more support in learning how to open your conscious mind, I suggest you explore the I Create What I Believe (ICWIB) program where my friend Luke will demonstrate the ICWIB activities and/or attend the FREE Drawing in the Now classes that are taught by Nancy Marie over Zoom the first and third Monday of the month from 4:30 pm-5:00 pm PST.
