I think love has no boundaries, no prejudices, no labels, and no age limit. I also think we all need and deserve deep and bonding love because it is transformative. My bond with Nancy began when I was nine weeks old. My trainer wanted me to live with her as I learned how to support her being her medical alert dog. She felt that deep bonding was necessary for us to learn how to work as a team. Bonding is also important during this time of negativity, conflict, and upheaval.
Why?
When we are bonded with another or allow ourselves to embrace or be embraced by love, we activate our conscious mind. In that moment, we also have the capacity to make a positive difference in the world just because we are in our conscious problem-solving mind and subsequently fully present.
Remember inner and world peace happens one person and one moment at a time. So, allow yourself to love, and bond with another. It doesn’t matter if it is to a person, or an animal. Then focus on being loved and bonded in as many moments as possible every day.
Now sometimes it is difficult to create this in our life due to long-held beliefs.
