About a month ago Nancy’s friend Clare invited us to watch an old movie she felt was important. They talk some before we watched the movie. Then we watched the movie, but I didn’t understand its significance until they began talking after the movie.
In the movie, A Scottish private, a student of philosophy and poems, was sent to a village in the beautiful French countryside during World War 1 on a suicide mission to detonate explosives set by the retreating German army. The village soon to be blown sky high had been abandoned by its inhabitants and replaced with escapees from the local insane asylum. Clare then pointed out that the blind loyalty from some people was like confused people trying to make sense of a challenging situation. She also pointed out what one of the ladies from the insane asylum had said after the private asked why was everyone was so happy. She replied, “because I live in the moment and aren’t trying to control or make something happen with my will. Thus, I am also able to see what is supportive and what can destroy me and make a choice.”
As they talked, I began to understand why Clare thought this movie was important during this time upheaval. She pointed out that the General had decided that the private needed to be sacrificed instead of his close confidants even though the private repeatedly told him his wasn’t qualified and didn’t know anything regarding the detonating of explosives. She also pointed out that the current administration was doing the same thing by protecting people that supported them and trying to destroy those that didn’t agree with their actions.
Now with mentally challenged running the town, the private was crowned King!
Unfortunately, his new title brought him his first big decision: To carry out his deadly suicide mission, and the collective harsh and cruel behavior of intimation or to join the colorful and happy people from the asylum, who knew nothing about war, force, or intimation. In the end the private decided that instead of supporting war and cruelty he wanted to join the mentally challenged because it felt this was an honest and true reflection of his belief in the joy of life.
If you would like some help reconnecting with your heart, connect more deeply with yourself, and become aware how choices can affect your life, I suggest you explore the I Create What I Believe (ICWIB) program where my friend Luke will demonstrate the ICWIB activities and show you how to shift mind states, and help you transform your life.
You can also explore by yourself some of the ICWIB activities

In a recent interview Dr. Bruce Lipton said, “…Freedom is the ability to create without the limitation of generational programming. The I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB!) Program is a gateway and a pathway into a new and better future because it allows children and (adults) to fully express themselves and to not be limited by the beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation. This program also frees up children’s and (adults’) minds and allows their creative nature to create a better world for all of us, which is what we need right now!”
