Here is my story:
Several nights ago on our evening walk, Nancy and I met two young men. One was in his early twenties, and the other was in his late twenties. As we stood in the park talking, both revealed they hadn’t finished high school- a label had crippled both. One said he hadn’t finished high school because he had ADHD, while the other announced he hadn’t finished high school because he had ADD.
Do you know that more than 2 million American children have been identified as being learning disabled, and approximately 5 to 10 million American adults are similarly affected.
It has also been noted that practically all of us have several special learning disabilities. With this in mind, I think it would be better to see these challenges as “learning opportunities” rather than “learning disabilities,” because negative labels can limit our view of our potential.
After sitting in an afternoon program for middle school children for a year Nancy and I have met hundreds of children who shared with us their endless list of crippling and limiting labels. These labels had made them feel flawed—less than—and for some, their excuse for not being successful. This is concerning especially when we need to be cultivating creative, out-of-the-box thinkers for our new global market.
Why?
I feel learning challenges require you to be a creative, innovative thinker. Being unable to learn in the traditional, linear manner doesn’t mean you are stupid or incapable of learning, it just means you have a uniquely wired brain, which often do exceptional things. It also means you need to explore and discover how your mind works and what helps it work best.
If you would like some help discovering your unique mind and its potential, I suggest you explore the I Create What I Believe (ICWIB) program where my friend Luke will demonstrate the ICWIB activities and show you how to use them to uncover your mind and how to maximize its capabilities.
You can also explore by yourself some of the ICWIB activities

In a recent interview Dr. Bruce Lipton said, “…Freedom is the ability to create without the limitation of generational programming. The I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB!) Program is a gateway and a pathway into a new and better future because it allows children and (adults) to fully express themselves and to not be limited by the beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation. This program also frees up children’s and (adults’) minds and allows their creative nature to create a better world for all of us, which is what we need right now!”
