Today I would like to talk about the upcoming mid-term elections on November 3rd, because Nancy and her friends seem to be talking about it almost every day.
With this in mind, I think this is the time to ask ourselves what is our truth? How can we find our truth? Does the truth matter?
It appears that there are many different opinions on how we need to move forward and how we can accomplish this through different policies, approaches to life and governing. At the same time, this is the time where we all need to individually become clear on which approach resonates closest to our truth about life and ourselves. It is also important that we ask ourselves if our decisions are based on emotions or proven facts.
I also think it is important to look at the quality of each person running for office. Do you admire their integrity, honesty, and track record? Are they someone you would enjoy introducing to your friends? Are you are drawing your decision on current data or events from a very long time ago.
Finally, are the people you are going to choose compassionate? Do they have empathy? Do they care about all members of our society? Or are they primarily focused on themselves and a certain sector of people and disregard the rest? There is a lot of talk about all of this, but have you also taken the time to think about how these people will impact the upcoming generations, in this country and abroad?
We are all connected so every decision we make will impact everyone. So, go inward and choose wisely. Choose with your heart, your mind, and your soul and focus on making your choice make a positive difference in the world.
