Many years ago, Henry Ford said, “If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.” And Albert Einstein said, “You can’t solve our problems with the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”
What they were both talking about is what Dr. Bruce Lipton discovered many years ago when he was a fellow in pathology at Stanford Medical School. It was then that he proved in a lab that our beliefs and preconceptions, not our genes, control our biology and when you change your beliefs you can change your whole life.
It is important to note that we acquired our fundamental beliefs and perceptions about life and ourselves in the first years of life merely by observing the behavior, attitudes, and actions of our parents, siblings, and peers. This happens effortlessly because our mind is predominately in a theta brain state—or “copy and paste.” These beliefs then play out automatically without the control or awareness of our conscious mind.
The good news is that with all the current research regarding the mind’s plasticity, we now know that we have the capacity to rewrite the software between our ears. So, if your life is not unfolding is a manner you would like it to, you might want to work on rewriting your software.
Did you know that the ICWIB Program was designed to help you update the software between your ears, so you can change any beliefs or perceptions in your subconscious mind that are hindering your ability to thrive?
