This short video clip will guide you through the fourth activity in the ICWIB program. It is called the labyrinth. The labyrinth, which has roots both in yoga breathing and labyrinth walking meditation, can help you relax your body, increase your sense of well-being, and help you become fully present.
The repetitive motion and use of deep abdominal breathing can also help you learn how to shift you from your subconscious mind to your conscious mind effortlessly. Once that is accomplished, you can have the capacity to see and rewrite your tapes.
When you do this activity, I recommend you pay particular attention to the moment when your mind becomes still and you feel an expanded lightness, because in that moment you have shifted into your conscious mind. It is from there that we want to move through our day. It is also from there that we can create what Dr. Bruce Lipton calls “heaven on earth.”
If you are having difficulty bringing on the shift, just slow down your breathing and the movement of your crayon or pencil even more.
If you enjoyed this activity, I also invite you to explore more of the ICWIB! art activities and videos for FREE.
