In challenging times it is easy to get lost in the pain and discordance of our differences, instead of celebrating our similarities—which ultimately can then become a source of strength within us.
After hearing some street musicians outside a Subway station move some 200-odd pedestrians to tears, Mark Johnson, a Grammy winning filmmaker, decided he wanted to create something that reminded all of us of our commonalities instead of our differences. He ended up bringing more than 100 musicians from around the world together and then through the song, ‘Stand by Me’ they remind us of our similarities and that we are not alone.
With this in mind, I would also like to invite you to explore some of the ICWIB! art activities and videos for FREE, because they are a simple way to activate your conscious mind and in the process help you open your heart so you can see and genuinely connect with yourself and others.
