When you find yourself overwhelmed and unable to see things clearly, I think it is time to take a break. Why? The simple action of stepping away from a difficult situation can help you let go of the fear and anxiety that is eroding your clarity. On the other hand, becoming more invested in trying to understand the insanity of some people’s choices or control things will just bring about a more confusion, chaos, and pain.
Many years ago, when my trainer and Nancy first met, they discussed what kind of dog would serve Nancy the best. The trainer suggested a poodle for two reasons; Poodles are hypogenic and we would be around people you might be allergic to dogs, but more importantly they are clowns. This is true. I love to do things that make Nancy laugh because laughter can provide her with an opportunity to step back and take a break.
Yes, I was trained to detect when Nancy’s Adrenals are struggling but I have also found that getting her to laugh or take a break can help her to shake off feelings and situations that could eventually compromise her adrenals before they began to faulter.
During this current time of horrifying upheaval, chaos, and dishonesty, I think we all need to find more ways to take a break and not let the current insanity and lack of integrity erode our sense of self and clarity.
What would that look like?
You could retrieve sticks, go for a walk, sing, dance, rest in the sun, or do something that will make you and others laugh.
Why?
Taking a break is a very powerful tool.
It can help us separate truth from untruth, lift us out of anxiety, fear, and depression. It can also help us reconnect with our authentic self. When that happens, we become centered, clear eyed and can resist being sucked into the horrible and negative drama that is currently playing out in the world today.
Think about what it looks like when an owner wants his or her dog to do something, but the dog has other plans. They can become unmoving, and limp, or goofy. Yes, we can numb ourselves, and ignore what is happening or we can do something that disconnects us from the current drama and in the process shift the energy and situations that are trying to swallow us whole.
I think what could really be helpful during these difficult times is for everyone to find multiple ways to take a break to counterbalance the fear and terror that is currently being generated by some individuals.
If you would like some help finding new ways to step away and take a break, I suggest you explore the I Create What I Believe (ICWIB) program where my friend Luke will demonstrate the ICWIB activities.
You can also explore by yourself some of the ICWIB activities

In a recent interview Dr. Bruce Lipton said, “…Freedom is the ability to create without the limitation of generational programming. The I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB!) Program is a gateway and a pathway into a new and better future because it allows children and (adults) to fully express themselves and to not be limited by the beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation. This program also frees up children’s and (adults’) minds and allows their creative nature to create a better world for all of us, which is what we need right now!”
