When I was a pup, I developed a habit of kissing people’s ears that I really liked. (I am the pup with the purple ribbon.) Everyone one thought it was really cute, but assumed that this behavior would stop when I got older—but it didn’t. I can remember the first time I met Nancy’s son. It was when they picked me up from my mom. He held me while Nancy handled some details. I remember how it felt as he wrapped his arms around me and held me close. I was in love! I immediately began kissing (or licking his ear).
Then several years later I remember meeting Nancy’s son’s girlfriend. They were sitting on the couch when I walked into the room. I immediately leaped onto the couch—wedged myself between the two of them and turned to his girlfriend and began licking her ear. She fussed a bit but, Nancy’s son, began laughing and said, “He really likes you.” I became a permanent wedge between the two of them that whole weekend kissing first his ears and then hers.
How do you let people know that you really like them? Do you smile? Kiss their ears? Snuggle close? Look longingly into their eyes? Or do you just listen? And how do you know if someone really likes you?
Quality relationships and connections can enrich our lives. They can give it meaning and purpose. So, learning to communicate our feelings honestly and authentically is important.
Now if you would like to increase the quality of your connections and help yourself and others bring more cheer into all of your lives, I suggest you explore the I Create What I Believe (ICWIB) program where my friend Luke will demonstrate the ICWIB activities and/or attend the FREE Drawing in the Now classes that are taught by Nancy Marie over Zoom the first and third Monday of the month from 4:30 pm-5:00 pm PST.

In a recent interview Dr. Bruce Lipton said, “…Freedom is the ability to create without the limitation of generational programming. The I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB!) Program is a gateway and a pathway into a new and better future because it allows children and (adults) to fully express themselves and to not be limited by the beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation. This program also frees up children’s and (adults’) minds and allows their creative nature to create a better world for all of us, which is what we need right now!”
