When I was about five, my mother, father, my two sisters, and I…
Since every day we seem to be bombarded with more and more stress, Alex and I would like to share some simple tips, and stories with you to hopefully put a smile on your face and help you keep your head screwed on straight in these very, very challenging times.
Over the years, I have talked about how we can acquire negative programs in the first six years of life, and how these patterns can make it difficult to thrive and realize our dreams.
Today I want to talk about the good patterns we might have acquired.
One of the good patterns I acquired when I was young I call “Go to the Trees!” So how did I acquire this pattern and how do I consciously use it in my life now?
Whenever I got in trouble when I was young, which was often, I would leave the house, and go into the woods behind our house. It felt quiet, calm, and safe in the woods and being there helped me unravel my confusion and reconnect with myself.
To this day, whenever my stress rises to a certain level, I get a feeling deep within my bones that lets me know that I need to just drop everything and “go to the trees” or hangout with some trees. When I do, the quiet calm generated by the trees helps me reconnect more deeply with myself and provides me with renewed inner strength and clarity.
With this in mind, I invite you to explore some of the ICWIB! art activities and videos for FREE, because they too can help you find the inner calm you need to resolve the conflict or challenge you are currently facing.
