Video from KarmaTube
I love this video, because it reminds me of how the simple things of life can make a huge difference. For six hours each day, Bermuda’s Johnny Barnes stands at a busy traffic intersection telling all who pass that he loves them. His delight and sincerity are infectious, and the people of the island love him back.
His service is a simple reminder of how the power of happiness and loving-kindness can change any day for the better. He does not speak with hollow words, instead it is his true heart filled words that make a difference.
With this in mind I invite you to explore some of the ICWIB! art activities and videos for FREE, because they can help you shift from your reactive mind to your conscious problem-solving mind. When that happens your brain automatically dumps oxytocin and dopamine into your blood stream. These are the love and feel good hormones. So in many ways I am offering you a way that you can be your own Johnny Barnes—in case you aren’t fortunate enough to see him every day on your way to work.
