Many years ago, actually many decades ago I had a life changing experience. I was standing on the corner of Fillmore and Jackson in San Francisco, CA waiting to take a bus down to the financial district where I taught a movement class. At the time I was in my late twenties.
I am not sure what was the catalyst for the experience, but spontaneously I began having flashbacks of my life. It took me a few minutes to collect myself enough to see the common thread. As it turns out I was being shown how different my life would have been if my mother and I had known what I knew then about life. In response to that experience I am made a conscious choice and in the process put my life on a whole new trajectory.
That day was over forty years ago.
The world today is in a state of upheaval and conflict. In the mist of all of this pain and suffering is it possible for each of us to do something that could make a positive global difference? Yes!
I think the best thing we all can do is to practice on being in our conscious mind and being fully present as often as possible.
