Today I would like to share some excerpts from a poem I wrote many years ago because over the years I have found it to be a helpful reminder of what I need to do when I am overwhelmed or disoriented by stress.
For many decades I have known that doing something creative or connecting with nature can help me reconnect more deeply with myself. When that is accomplished, my stress level automatically drops and I am able to see and respond to the situation in a more effective manner.
