In this two-minute video by YoursWisely, we’re reminded that chasing happiness won’t bring happiness, as this perspective frames it as something not yet present and requires more of “something else” before it can happen. From this mindset, happiness stays trapped in the future, unavailable in the here and now.
Chasing happiness keeps it at a distance. Why chase it when you can choose it?
By choosing to see the happiness that is present in our lives, we can experience it right away. It doesn’t require more time, more money, or anything outside of us to change—all we need to do is recognize it. It is a matter of perspective, a choice in how we use our minds.
Happiness is an attitude based in gratitude, free of self-victimization and rich with imagination.
Recognizing happiness becomes a natural habit as we reframe unhealthy perspectives, transform self-sabotaging behaviors, and restore balance to our systems. If you would like to experience more happiness this year, then we invite you to explore some of the ICWIB! art activities and videos for FREE!
The ICWIB! activities are designed for teaching children (and the child within us all) how to experience greater peace and happiness, discover one’s true values/sense of self, and stay connected to the creative power of the imagination!
Also, in a recent interview Dr. Bruce Lipton said, “…Freedom is the ability to create without the limitation of generational programming. The I Create What I Believe! (ICWIB!) Program is a gateway and a pathway into a new and better future because it allows children to fully express themselves and to not be limited by the beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation. This program also frees up children’s minds and allows their creative nature to create a better world for all of us, which is what we need right now!…”
