Several years ago when I was having lunch with my friend Barbara she began talking about how she didn’t feel like she was enough or what she had to offer the world was enough.
As I sat there listening some questions began rolling around in my mind. Where did these beliefs coming from? Why did she feel this way? Then a small voice within me said, “This is her enemy. It may sound different than yours, but it is the same. It came from the same place and it needs to be handled in the same way—so listen and learn…”
With that I sat back and listened with every cell in my body as she continued down the path of ‘poor me’ for a while longer. Then she stopped and said, “What do you think I should do?” I paused for a moment and then I said; “ I think this inner conflict you are talking about is because you were taught to be someone different than you really are. So subsequently your subconscious mind has a different agenda than your conscious mind. This is creating an inner conflict or battle. I think all you have to do is choose which life or path you want and then stick with that decision.”
With this in mind, if you are currently experiencing an inner conflict and you would like to try some simple and scientifically sound techniques to help you resolve that inner conflict then I invite you to explore some of the ICWIB art activities and videos for FREE. Why? They can help you remember who you really are and learn how to change beliefs or perceptions that hinder your ability to be that person and thrive.
