My dog has an amazing attitude about life—he loves everyone, and is happy all the time. One day I decided that I was going to try and approach my day like he did just to see what would happen. I found myself slowing down, and resting in the sun. No, I didn’t spend a lot of time sniffing things, but I did find myself spending more time enjoying the flowers and critters around me. I also found myself enjoying more treats and lacked the need to bark, complain, or be right. I also wasn’t the least bit interested in being around anyone who was barking, complaining, or trying to control life.
It didn’t take me long to clearly see how this “delighted to be alive” attitude had a contagious effect on everyone I encountered throughout my day. With this in mind, I decided that I wanted to approach life like my dog more often because I could see that it created more peace in me and more peace in my community.
I invite you to explore some of the ICWIB! art activities and videos for FREE because they are also a wonderful way to create more inner peace, which you can then share with others in your community.
