I have come to believe that when you find yourself searching for something to make you feel whole—be it a relationship or a new toy—what you may be looking for is your soul. The loss or disconnect from your soul can feel like an overwhelming emptiness, a disorientation, or even depression.
In all cases, when you feel that way it is important to go inward, generate stillness, and explore what you need in that moment and maybe what is missing in your life.
The fast-paced life of today can make it difficult to maintain a deep connection with our authentic nature, and at the same time being disconnected from our soul or authentic self can also make dealing with life’s challenges even harder.
With this in mind, I invite you to explore some of the ICWIB! art activities and videos for FREE because they are a simple and easy way to quiet your mind, go inward, and reconnect with your true nature or essential self.
To get my answers I usually use one of the ICWIB activities to relax my body, open my heart and focus my mind so I am able to unearth a clear and reliable plan of action. With this in mind, I invite you to explore some of the ICWIB art activities and videos for FREE.
Whenever I find myself embarking along a new journey or beginning a new project I ask myself a series of questions to help me focus my mind and stay on course.
Here are some of the questions I ask: What is my ultimate goal or what am I trying to accomplish? Why is this important? Who will it impact? Where is it needed the most? When does it need to happen? Finally, how can I best approach this new project or journey?
So how do I use the answers to my questions?
I have found that there will be times when I am pursuing my goal that I will lose my focus, become overwhelmed and want to quit. Instead of giving up, I have found that going back and reviewing my what, why, who, where, when and how always helps to reset my internal GPS and provide me with the clarity and confidence I need to move forward more effectively.
