This short and uplifting video is a great reminder of the power of music, dancing and joy. In difficult and challenging times it is easy to feel overwhelmed and defeated and then react in a manner that doesn’t improve the quality of your life or the lives of others. On the other hand, when people purposely gather together with the intent to inject joy into the moment they can create a situation that fosters love, joy, and empowerment for all.
When 200 people took over Antwerpen’s Central Station in Belgium to do a carefully choreographed dance to the song from Sound of Music, one observer said, “It showed me that good things are still out there and there are good people in the world. In a small way, I now have a deeper understanding of what it is to be human because of the actions of 200 fellow humans in a train station in Belgium.”
This is the kind of action that can help all of us change the trajectory of things when they are going down the wrong path. This is the kind of legacy that we need to create in order to construct a better and more love filled world.
With this in mind, I invite you to explore some of the ICWIB art activities and videos for FREE. Why? They have the ability to not only transform inaccurate beliefs that can hinder one’s ability to thrive, they can also help both young and old connect deeply with their authentic self and in the process see the gifts they have to offer and help them find a way to share those gifts with the world.
